Our 12 Independent Living Units, known as The Cottages, are the ideal affordable retirement living option, for those able to live independently, without the worry of owning and maintaining your existing home.
Retirement living is about enjoying the things you love, and having the time and freedom to do what you want to do, when you want to do it. Living in a Riverview cottage allows you to lock-up and leave, with the peace of mind that your home is safe and secure, giving you the chance to travel or visit family and friends worry free.
Located onsite here at Riverview, Cottage residents are part of the Riverview Community and are free to join in with daily recreation and activities including:
- Sing a longs on the piano
- Craft Activities
- Visiting Musicians
- BBQ’s and Pancake Days
- Day trips and outings on the Riverview Mini Bus
In addition, residential aged care, dementia-specific care and respite are all available at Riverview, enabling couples to reside in close proximity if one partner requires a higher level of care.
Licence and Daily Fees
Covered under the SA Retirement Villages Act, there is no need for means or assets testing, or ACAT assessments.
Our affordable daily fee covers council rates, building insurance, and maintenance of your accommodation and gardens.
